Agartala: Apr 27: Due to family conflict wife brutally killed her husband with a sharp weapon. This incident came to light on today around 12 noon. The incident took place in Kashipada Colony under Birganj police station of Amar Pur in Gomati Tripura. After being informed police authority of Birganj rushed to the spot and witnessed the fearful incident. Police personnel of Amar Pur Birganj police station recovered the dead body and approached to the legal process of the case. In the details of the incident, it is known that the quarrel started between the husband and wife based on family problems. As the quarrel escalated, the wife became most furious like a beast and chopped on her husband’s neck with a sharp weapon (dao). Immediately the husband fell on the ground and died on the spot. The deceased’s name is Prem Guru Jamatia, age 60 years. Accused wife Kajal Kanya Jamatia has surrendered in  Birganj police station after the incident. Meanwhile, this incident spread excitement throughout the entre subdivision. A panic situation has been prevailed in the whole area. The forensic team and the police of Birganj police station are investigating the whole incident and trying to find out if there is any conspiracy behind the case.
