Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Held at Agartala GB Hospital Auditorium

Agartala: April 20: A voluntary blood donation camp was organized at the Agartala GB Hospital Auditorium today, as part of the first annual conference of the Government Medical Laboratory Technology Employees Association. The event witnessed participation from distinguished guests, including Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor and MLA Deepak Majumdar, Health Department Director Tapan Majumdar, and Association General Secretary Utpal Chakma.

During the camp, a total of 45 individuals came forward to voluntarily donate blood. Mayor Deepak Majumdar commended the initiative, emphasizing the significance of blood donation in saving lives. He described it as both a humanitarian effort and an act of social responsibility.

 

The mayor extended his appreciation to the donors for their contributions and expressed hope that such initiatives would inspire more people to participate in the future. He also acknowledged the efforts of the attendees and encouraged everyone to remain committed to their social responsibilities in the days ahead.
