Agartala: Jan 05: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has come to Agartala to start the public trust journey. Tripura Chief Minister and others received him at the Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport. It was decided that he would come to Agartala on Wednesday night. But, due to dense fog, his plane could not land at Agartala. As a result, he moved to Guwahati. This morning too he was delayed in coming to Agartala due to thick fog. On reaching Agartala, he took a helicopter straight to Dharmanagar.
The Union Home Minister will launch Jan Biswas Yatra today at Dharmanagar and at 2 PM at Sabroom. First, he will show the green flag of the chariot of Jan Biswas Yatra from Kadamtala. After the public meeting in Dharmanagar, he will have lunch at someone’s house. From there go to Sabroom. He will participate in the public meeting by starting the Jan Biswas Yatra there.
Today, Union Home Minister Amit Shah was received at the airport by Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, Union Minister Pratima Bhoumik, MP Biplab Kumar Dev, BJP state president Rajeev Bhattacharjee and BJP in-charge MP Sambit Patra at the airport.
