Agartala: Jan 27: In a horrifying incident, an unidentified person’s burned body was discovered in a narrow lane opposite the Krishna Nagar TRTC gate. The police and fire service personnel immediately responded to the scene and transported the individual to the GB Hospital. Unfortunately, the person succumbed to his injuries this morning. As of now, the identity of the deceased remains unknown.

Suman Chakraborty, the Deputy Director of Forensic Services, arrived at the scene to assist in the investigation. Additionally, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of West Agartala Police Station, Paritosh Das, and other law enforcement officers were present to conduct a thorough inquiry into the matter.

The incident has left the authorities and local residents in shock, as no clear leads have been found to determine the cause of the fire or the identity of the person. Investigators are now working to gather further information, including any possible witnesses or surveillance footage that might shed light on the situation. Forensic teams are conducting detailed examinations to help determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
