Agartala, Tripura: Two Bangladeshi smugglers were injured in a Border Security Force (BSF) firing while attempting to smuggle sugar across the border. They are currently receiving treatment in a Bangladeshi hospital, according to a statement issued by the BSF today.

The BSF reported that they thwarted an attempt to smuggle sugar in the Boxnagar area yesterday. When the BSF personnel tried to intercept the smugglers, the latter attempted to attack.
