Agartala: A Tripura State Rifle trooper identified as Abbas Uddin (46) was found dead in his own room at the headquarters of second battalion of paramilitary force located at Khayerpur. Speaking on the issue, elder brother of the deceased said, “We have been told by the TSR officials that he had suffered massive cerebral stroke leading to his death. They also informed us that he was healthy and doing good last night. But, when he was asked to open his doors on Sunday morning, he did not respond. Immediately, the higher officials were informed and followed by their instructions the doors were broken. He was found dead inside his room”. The mortal remains of the deceased soldier had been shifted to GBP hospital for post mortem. According to sources, the body will be handed over tomorrow for post-death rituals. The brother of the deceased, however, also added that they had noticed blood patches near deceased person’s nose as if he had suffered some injuries leading bleeding from the mouth and nose. “We shall lodge an FIR with the police station so that the matter is properly investigated”, he added.
