Agartala, August 28: Supporters of the TSF protested by blocking the road to the Buddha temple in the capital, demanding the use of Roman letters in Kakborak language. Vehicular traffic has come to a standstill due to the blockade. Passenger suffering is extreme.
Incidentally, the Tipra Students Federation has called for a 12-hour Tripura Bandh today to demand the use of Roman script in the Kakborak language. The strike was supported by the Roman Script Folk Kakborak Choba Bar SKC organization. There have been many earlier movements to Romanize the Kakborak language. In this regard, from the governor of the state to the chief minister, but no action was taken by them. As a result, the organization has called for the complete success of the 12-hour Tripura Bandh called by the Tipra Students Federation.
