TSF Approaches Governor Regarding Pushpavanta Palace Issue

Agartala: Dec 04: Today, a delegation from the Tripura Students’ Federation (TSF) approached the Governor at Raj Bhavan to submit a deputation regarding the Pushpavanta Palace issue. The delegation was led by Hamulu Jamatia, the General Secretary of TSF.

Facing the media, Hamulu Jamatia stated that the state government is about to hand over Pushpavanta Palace to the Taj Group. TSF is protesting against this decision of the state government. They suggest that a hotel should be constructed at a different location instead of Pushpavanta Palace. TSF has no objection to that.

The Governor assured them today that he would talk to the state government about their demands.
