TIPRA Motha, the prime opposition political party in Tripura, is set to forge an “official friendship” with the ruling BJP government. This alliance is expected to bring about a new dimension in the state’s political arena.

As part of this collaboration, two new ministers will be inducted into the state cabinet.

Animesh Debbarma and Brishaketu Debbarma, leaders of the opposition, are slated to take their oaths as ministers on Wednesday.

The swearing-in ceremony will be conducted at the Raj Bhavan in the presence of Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, other ministers, and dignitaries.

The TIPRASA Accord represents a crucial step toward addressing tribal land and language rights, ensuring political and financial autonomy for indigenous communities in Tripura.

The commitment to peaceful resolution and development underscores the collective efforts of stakeholders in shaping Tripura’s destiny.

Stay tuned for further updates as the state embarks on this transformative journey toward peace and prosperity.
