The Tripura Traffic Department has become more active in taking legal action against people violating traffic laws in the city on Friday 7th. Drivers not wearing seatbelts, using mobile phones while driving, illegally parking vehicles, violating traffic signals, not wearing helmets while driving two wheelers, no license, no registration, those driving under the influence of alcohol, Traffic police officers in various parts of the capital took strict action and fined those who did not have double helmets. In this regard, an official of the traffic police said that accidents are constantly increasing due to non-observance of traffic laws. Traffic department is taking special role in this matter to prevent accidents.
