Agartala: Oct 27: A pivotal meeting was convened to evaluate the organizational structure and activities of the Tripura State Fishermen’s Union, with former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar inaugurating the event. This gathering brought together key stakeholders, including union members, local leaders, and fisheries experts, to discuss the current challenges and opportunities facing the fishing community in Tripura.

The meeting primarily focused on the internal dynamics of the union, assessing its effectiveness in advocating for the rights and needs of fishermen.
