Tripura Higher Education Department Cancels Summer Vacation for Colleges

Agartala: May 08: The Higher Education Department of Tripura has announced the cancellation of the summer vacation for general degree colleges, professional colleges, and technical institutes in the state. According to the department’s latest notification, the vacation, originally scheduled from May 9 to June 3, will not be observed this year.
As per the decision, colleges will remain open during this period, and semester examinations, admission processes, and regular classes will continue without interruption. To compensate, teachers will be granted earned leave.
The move aims to ensure the smooth progression of academic activities and institutional operations across the state.
