Agartala: June 03: Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, currently on a visit to Bihar, met renowned Bollywood playback singer Kumar Sanu in Patna on Tuesday. The meeting was described as a courtesy interaction between the two, during which the Chief Minister expressed his admiration for the celebrated artist.
Following the meeting, Dr Saha took to social media to share his thoughts, writing, “An absolute delight to interact with a music icon who has brought joy to millions through his soulful voice.”
During his two-day visit to Bihar, Dr Saha also held a series of courtesy meetings with several prominent leaders and ministers of the state. These included Shambhavi Choudhary, MP from Samastipur Lok Sabha constituency; Bihar’s Minister of Industries, Nitish Mishra; Minister for Health & Law and BJP West Bengal In-charge, Mangal Pandey; and Minister of Public Health Engineering Department, Niraj Kumar Singh.
As part of his official engagements, the Tripura Chief Minister attended the ‘Abhinandan Samaroh’ ceremony at Patna Dental College & Hospital, his alma mater. Addressing the gathering, Dr Saha expressed deep nostalgia and gratitude. “Delighted to address my alma mater, sharing cherished memories and experiences with the esteemed audience,” he posted on social media.
On Monday, Dr Saha was also felicitated by the Buddha Institute of Dental Sciences & Hospital in Patna. Reflecting on the event, he said, “It was wonderful sharing my thoughts with the bright students and esteemed faculty members. Grateful for the warm hospitality.”
The visit served both personal and political purposes, blending emotional connections with professional engagements. Dr Saha’s presence at educational institutions and meetings with key figures in Bihar’s political and administrative circles highlighted the significance of regional cooperation and cultural exchange.
