Guwahati, February 23: Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Tripura took part in the Northeast “Prashikshan Mahabhiyan – 2026” workshop held in Guwahati on Monday. The workshop brought together key functionaries from across the region to deliberate on organisational strengthening and future strategies.
The Tripura delegation included ministers Sudhangshu Das, Tinku Roy, Pranajit Singha Roy, and Kishor Barman, along with Pradesh BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Rajib Bhattacharjee. MLAs Rampada Jamatia and Bhagaban Das, besides several party office bearers, were also present at the session.
The workshop focused on reinforcing the party’s organisational structure in the Northeast through detailed discussions on ideology, working methods, leadership development, and future planning. Addressing the gathering, Pradesh BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee emphasised that the training initiative aims to make the party more dynamic, disciplined, and resilient in the region. He noted that with strong organisation, structured planning, and the unwavering dedication of grassroots workers, the BJP is steadily progressing towards its long-term objectives.
Minister Sudhangshu Das highlighted that the training camp offered valuable guidance on strengthening the party’s ideological foundation and ensuring effective implementation of its public service commitments. He stressed the importance of clarity in vision and coordinated efforts in achieving organisational goals.
Minister Tinku Roy described the deliberations as productive and inspiring, stating that the exchange of ideas and strategic direction provided during the workshop would significantly shape the party’s future course of action in the Northeast.
The “Prashikshan Mahabhiyan – 2026” workshop underscored the BJP’s broader strategy to consolidate its presence in the Northeast through organisational discipline, ideological clarity, and collective commitment.
