Agartala: July 27: A fire incident occurred on a train traveling from Silchar to Agartala, causing significant concern among passengers. The fire broke out in an air-conditioned compartment, leading to panic as passengers noticed smoke upon the train’s arrival at Yogendranagar station. In their alarm, many passengers jumped off the train, narrowly escaping the fire.

The exact cause of the smoke remains unknown at this time. However, once the situation was brought under control, the train resumed its journey towards Agartala. This incident has understandably caused widespread panic among those involved and the broader community.
