Agartala, July 2: A shocking incident has gripped the small village of Nazarpura, bordering Boxanagar, as allegations of family violence and extramarital affairs come to light. According to reports, Monir Hossain was severely beaten at his home on June 27 by his wife, Maya Akhter, his elder son, Yasin Mia, and his daughter’s son-in-law, Sayon Mia.
The heart-wrenching saga unfolds as Yasin Mia’s wife allegedly engaged in an extramarital affair with Sayon Mia, her own brother-in-law. Yasin Mia objected to this relationship, leading to a violent confrontation that ultimately claimed Monir Hossain’s life. Sayon Mia reportedly struck him on the head, leaving him injured and bleeding. Sayon Mia then fled to Bangladesh.
Monir Hossain’s younger son, Mohsin Hossain, was outside the house during the incident. Unfortunately, Monir Hossain succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at GB Hospital on Monday afternoon, casting a pall of mourning over the entire area.
Local sources reveal that Monir Hossain was once a successful businessman with substantial wealth. However, in recent years, his Bangladeshi daughter’s son-in-law and son-in-law allegedly drained his finances, leaving him destitute. Adding to the tragedy, Monir Hossain’s wife is accused of having an illicit relationship with her daughter’s son-in-law. The family dispute escalated, resulting in Monir’s untimely demise.
