Tragic Incident: Three People Die While Cleaning Abandoned Well at School

Agartala:  June 8:A devastating incident occurred in the Neuramur area of South Taibundal, under the Dhanpur assembly constituency, where three individuals lost their lives while cleaning an abandoned well.

Ashok Kumar Tripura, Shambhu Kumar Debbarma, and Shukromoni Murasingh were working at South Taibundal Neuramur School this morning. The school headmaster had instructed them to clean the unused well. Tragically, one of them drowned during the cleaning process, and the other two lost their lives while attempting to rescue their colleague.

Witnesses from the school immediately alerted the fire brigade, who promptly arrived and recovered the bodies. The victims were taken to the hospital for postmortem examination.

This heartbreaking incident has left the community in shock, emphasizing the importance of safety precautions during such tasks.
