The couple, married for 19 years and parents to two sons and a daughter, had been experiencing marital discord. Ashish suspected that Namita was having an affair with an individual man. Their argument escalated last night, culminating in a tragic turn of events.

Around 3 a.m., while their children slept in the adjacent room, Ashish allegedly used a sharp object—a drinking straw—to fatally attack Namita. The shocking incident sent shockwaves through the community. Promptly informed, the police arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and transported it to the hospital for post-mortem examination. Ashish has been arrested and is currently in custody at the Radha Kishorepur police station. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into this heartbreaking case.
