Agartala, October 17: The unimaginable incident that took place with a 15-year-old minor in the name of purification. In protest against that, the All India Democratic Women’s Association sat on a demonstration at the office of the Women’s Commission. They demand that necessary action be taken after proper investigation.

Incidentally, an unspeakable torture was allegedly carried out in the house of a racist leader in Sabroom in the name of purifying a class 9 student of Baradowali area of Agartala. Unable to endure the torture, the minor wanted to commit suicide. He was taken to Calcutta for treatment, seriously injured and ill. But the end was not saved. The All India Democratic Women’s Association has raised its voice today in protest.

The organization alleged that no role of the State Women’s Commission was noticed in this sensational incident. Protesting against this, the Democratic Women’s Association of Tripura State Committee held a demonstration in front of the Women’s Commission on Tuesday. After that they gives a deputation to Womens’ Commission.
