Agartala: Dec 28: A large rally was organized at Banmalipur Assembly constituency on the initiative of Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress. The rally started from Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress office and was attended by Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress President Pijush Kanti Biswas, All India Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev, Pradesh Yuva Trinamool Congress President Santanu Saha, Pradesh Mahila Trinamool Congress President Panna Dev and other leaders. .Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress President Pijush Kanti Biswas said, “Sudip went to BJP to remove CPIM in 2018. Today CPIM and Congress have come together again. Trinamool Congress has been fighting against BJP since long. People here in the state trust Trinamool Congress. I have traveled all over the state of Tripura and I see a new atmosphere and a new light of hope among the people, people feel that the Trinamool Congress can remove the BJP government and the Trinamool Congress will be the architect of the new government.”All India Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev said, “A protest rally has been organized at the initiative of our Banmalipur block as elections are coming and the time for change is here. State Trinamool Congress President Pijush Kanti protested against the misrule that the Bharatiya Janata Party has carried out in the state of Tripura for over four and a half years. We are taking out this march under the leadership of Pijush Kanti Biswas. We want to say to the people of Banmalipur that since Trinamool Congress is becoming the main opposition government to the present government, it is Trinamool Congress that can bring change in Banmalipur and Tripura state in the coming days.”After this rally, Niranjan Reang, a resident of Shantirbazar, picked up the All India Trinamool Congress flag in the presence of Tripura Pradesh Trinamool Congress President Pijush Kanti Biswas, Rajya Sabha MP Sushmita Dev. Niranjan Riang was one of the 10,323 teachers. Also BJP and CPIM members from Simna have joined Trinamool Congress.
