Agartala: Mar 07: In a significant political development, the Tipra Matha party has officially joined the ruling coalition. Today, two of its Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Animesh Debbarma and Brishketu Debbarma, were sworn in as ministers. The oath ceremony took place at the Raj Bhavan, where Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu administered the oath.

The presence of key dignitaries added to the solemnity of the occasion. Notable attendees included Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha, Tourism and Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Minister Sudhanshu Das, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, and State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan. Former Tipra Matha supremo Pradyut Kishore Deb Barma and party convener Jagadish Debbarma were also present, along with senior officials from the state administration.
