In keeping with the rest of the country today, Thursday, April 27, at 11 am, a deputation was given to the Prime Minister through the District Magistrate with 4 point demands on the initiative of the Unkoti District Committee of Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh. Today’s deputation is given to the Additional District Magistrate due to non-availability of the District Magistrate. A huge rally was held in Gaurnagar area before the deputation was given. Notable among the demands were the provision of social security to unorganized workers and the regularization of temporary workers. Today’s deputation was attended by the functionaries of all branches of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh. Today’s deputation was led by Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Unkoti District Committee President Pallab Debnath, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh Unkoti District Committee General Secretary Bikash Malakar Ganesh Dev and many others.
