Three Rohingya Citizens Arrested by Agartala GRP Police

On Friday morning, the Agartala GRP police arrested three Rohingya citizens at Agartala railway station before they could flee to another state by train. The arrested individuals have been identified as Kamal Hossain, Rashida Bibi, and Azida Bibi.

According to police sources, the three had illegally entered Tripura from the Kutupalong Rohingya camp in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. The police also revealed that Kamal Hossain is a resident of the same Rohingya camp and is involved in international human trafficking.

The GRP police have registered a case and are currently investigating the incident. The arrested individuals have been produced before the court under the relevant sections.
