Agartala July 15: On June 28, eight people died in an upside-down chariot accident at Kumarghat. Many were injured. Among them, three seriously injured are under treatment at GB Hospital. They need better treatment. The state government feels that they need more advanced treatment by sending them to Delhi. Accordingly, the government has decided to send them to Delhi for better treatment. Two patients were flown to Delhi on Saturday. One more patient will be sent to Delhi on Sunday.
This morning, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha went to GB Hospital to inquire about their physical condition. Talk to doctors and health workers. After inquiring about the physical condition of the injured, the chief minister said that the condition of three was serious. Their condition is currently stable. Still they are being sent to Delhi for better treatment. For this, the doctors of the state have talked to the doctors of Delhi through video conference. The doctors of Delhi said that the three injured patients have received very good treatment. The Chief Minister said that the rest of the services will be provided to Delhi now. Health Secretary Dr Debashish Bose along with other officials were also present with the Chief Minister.
