Three detains with intoxicating tablets

Agartala: Mar 26: Three individuals were detained by locals at Udaipur Jagannath Dighi’s northern bank on Wednesday, suspected of possessing intoxicating substances. The incident occurred as part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to establish a drug-free state. Upon questioning, locals discovered a considerable quantity of intoxicating tablets in their possession.

The police were promptly informed, and officers from the Radha Kishorepur police station arrived at the scene to take the individuals into custody. Along with the suspects, a motorcycle was also seized.

 

According to police reports, the detained individuals are identified as Jalil Mia (39), a rickshaw puller from Udaipur Rajarbagh area, Royal Hossain (25), and Rakesh Pal (34). They are currently under police custody, and further investigation into the matter is underway.
