The opposition leader visited the areas affected by natural disasters

Agartala April 23: On April 21, storms and hailstorms caused extensive damage to houses in a large area of Khowai Sub-Division. Crops are destroyed. In this situation, opposition leader Animesh Debbarma visited several areas including Asaram Bari, Behala Bari, West Champachhara, East Bachaibari of Khowai sub-division which were affected by Kalbaisakhi storm and hail storm.

During the visit, he spoke to the members of the families affected by the Kalbaisakhi storm, also appealed to the chief minister along with the state administration for financial assistance to the affected families. He urged the state administration officials to visit the affected areas. He appealed to the District Magistrate and the Sub-Divisional Magistrate to ensure that the residents do not face any difficulties in getting financial support. He also informed that he will write a letter to the Chief Minister about the whole issue. Houses in all these areas were heavily damaged by the hailstorm. However, the opposition party leader did not raise his voice to provide financial support from the ADC administration. Because the affected families are demanding cooperation from the state government and Tipra Matha who is in power in ADC.
