The oath taking ceremony was held

As previously announced, the swearing-in ceremony of the Legislative Assembly was held at Lovi on Thursday. 30 BJP MLAs and two Congress MLAs took oath on this day. The oath-taking ceremony started at 11 am on Thursday. The National Anthem is played before taking the oath.

BJP and Congress MLAs took oath one by one. Protem Speaker Vinay Bhushan Das administered the oath. After the oath-taking ceremony, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha addressed the media and said that all the people’s representatives who took the oath today have pledged to work for the country in the coming days. Every public representative should work especially for the people. The Chief Minister urged not to make any hateful comments so that peace and order can be maintained in the state of Tripura in the coming days. He also said that all the people of the nation should cooperate to take Tripura forward.

He said that best Tripura will be made with the blessings of God. The Chief Minister once again referred to his new slogan, “We aim for a better Tripura.” The Chief Minister gave a message to the people that he will work tirelessly for this. Meanwhile, Congress MLA Birjit Sinha said that importance should be given to maintain peace and harmony. Because the election is over. Now Mr. Sinha will show enthusiasm to take it forward in Tripura. Mayor Deepak Majumder and others were present at the oath taking ceremony.
