Agartala December 15: Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu alerted workers of Rani Bari tea garden in Uttar district to prevent child marriage. On the second day of his visit to North District, the Governor met the workers of Ranibari tea plantations. The Chief Minister handed over land leases to five beneficiaries under the Tea Workers Scheme. And the governor made the tea garden workers aware of several issues.

It is known that on Friday morning, the Governor first went to Yakubnagar BSF camp in Dharmanagar subdivision. A guard of honor was presented to the Governor there. Then the Governor visited the BSF camp grounds. After visiting the BSF camp, the Governor went straight to Brajendra Nagar Primary Health Centre. The governor went there and talked to the doctors and health workers of the hospital along with the patients under treatment in the hospital. He inquired about the medical services of the hospital. Then he went to Rani Bari tea garden.

In a ceremony there, the Chief Minister handed over land plots to five beneficiaries of the tea workers scheme. Speaking at the event later, Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu said that the state government has provided space for tea plantation workers to construct houses. Central government is giving money for building houses. He urged the tea plantation workers to send their sons and daughters to school to educate them in higher education. He also said that the government provides scholarships for boys and girls to get higher education. School lunch is provided for lower class students. The governor also made tea garden workers aware about child marriage. After the Rani Bari tea garden ceremony, the governor went to Kadamtala block. Governor Governor Indra Sena Reddy Nallu interacted with the women of self-help group in the conference hall of Kadamtala block. North District District Magistrate Debapriya Bardhan, North District Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty and other officials were present there.
