Agartala, January 6: One of the goals of the government is to reach the people with various public oriented projects and facilities. The government wants to gain the trust and confidence of the people through the implementation of development programs. The government has taken various steps for the overall development and public welfare of the state. Finance Minister Pranajit Singh Roy said this in an event at Secretariat No. 2 Meeting Room today at the Planning and Coordinating Department and Audit Directorate and Taxes Organization under Finance Department through JRBT. On the occasion, the Finance Minister handed over offers to the selected job recipients for 19 LDC posts. It is to be noted that 14 of the offer recipients will be appointed in the Department of Planning and Coordination, 4 in the Audit Directorate and 1 in the Taxes Organization.
On the occasion, Finance Minister Pranajit Singh Roy said that the government is determined to establish good governance in the state. The government has given utmost importance to the use of technology to speed up government work. Now various functions of the government have been made paperless. E-office management has been introduced. In the event, the Finance Minister told the offer recipients that the government is committed to the development of the state. The welfare of the people is the priority area of the present government. Therefore, the recipients of the offer have to work seriously so that the government work is speeded up. He said that the present state government is working with transparency. Job seekers got jobs based on merit. He congratulated the offerees and wished them bright future. Planning and Coordination Department Secretary Kiran Gitte and Finance Department Secretary Apurba Roy also spoke on the occasion.
