Agartala: May 04: Agartala May 4: The government is thinking of setting up a homeopathic medical college in the state. The current government does not want to play politics on these issues. This was said by Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha while discussing the state-based orientation program organized for AYUSH CHOs at Rabindra Satabarshiki Building in the capital on Thursday.
There is a program on Homeopathic health care for mothers and children. On this day, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. While discussing the inaugural function, the Chief Minister said that water and blood have no religion or caste. The people of the state have seen the atheist environment for so long. A religious environment has been created after the establishment of the present government. Religion is different. No one can survive without religion. The people of the state had forgotten the traditional culture of the state. Foreign ideas were forced into people’s minds.
That’s why there is a lot of instability at present. Speaking today, the Chief Minister said that the previous government also played politics with doctors. The doctors have now been released from it. Also, pointing fingers at some doctors, the Chief Minister said that he had seen in the past days that doctors used to select people as my people. And the most surprising thing is that when doctors and health workers were awarded, the opposition hall was not honoured. Today this tradition has changed. Doctors, health workers and ASHA workers are not rewarded based on who belongs to which group. But the Chief Minister said that everyone is equal to the doctors. Doctors and health workers are responsible for protecting people’s health. And people depend on doctors for health. Since the formation of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government in the country in 2014, the importance of the medical sector has increased. One of these is Ayush. In the coming days, the central government is looking to speed up the AYUSH treatment system. The state government is looking to change the face of hospitals with special emphasis on the medical sector. They are not trying to provide health services by putting doctors on broken chairs like the previous government. Several Homeo and Ayurvedic doctors were felicitated for their special contribution in providing medical services on the occasion. Also several Asha workers including doctors of primary health centers, CHOs of health and wellness centers were honored for their good work. Prizes were handed over to them. Apart from Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Health Department Secretary Debashis Bose, Health Department Director Subhashis Debbarma and others were present on the occasion.
