Agartala: May 05: Sur Sadhana Culture Academy celebrated its 21st anniversary with a grand cultural event, highlighting diverse artistic expressions and talent. The festivities began with a competition on April 20, culminating in an award distribution ceremony and annual gathering on May 3 at Tripura Students Health Home. The event was a collaborative effort between Sur Sadhana Culture Academy and Kurighar Social Organization.
Distinguished guests, including Sri Subrata Chakraborty, Vice-Chairperson of the Cultural Advisory Committee of the Tripura Department of Information and Culture, and Smt. Jharna Debbarma, Chairperson of the Tripura Women’s Commission, graced the occasion, adding to its significance.
The celebration featured an array of cultural performances, with participation from poets, writers, musicians, dancers, and vocal artists from Tripura and neighboring Assam. Attendees enjoyed a variety of artistic expressions, including music, dance, recitations, drama, and poetry readings, reflecting the region’s rich cultural heritage.
