Ear, Nose and Throat specialist doctors at ILS Hospitals Agartala have once again successfully completed Cochlear Implant Surgery by deploying highly sophisticated and complicated tools.
Three children named Diya Pal from Agartala in West Tripura district, Paishi Vaishnab from Nalchar in Sipahijala district and Debashree Pal from Mohanpur in West Tripura district were born mute and deaf.
Ear, Nose and Throat specialist doctors of ILS Hospitals Agartala decided to perform surgery on these three children on March 31st and April 1st after relevant examinations. In this surgery, doctors implant highly sophisticated electronic device inside the skull very close to the brain. ADIP of Government of India provides this implants to ILS Hospitals Agartala completely free of charge, the cost of this implant is around Rs 6 Lakhs each.
In this surgical team, the mentor surgeon was Dr. Amitabh Roy Chowdhury, ENT Surgeon & Dr. Rituparna Saha ENT Surgeon of ILS Hospitals, Agartala along with anesthesiologist Dr. Sadhu Aung Mog and audiologist was Manoranjan Kalita.
Now these three children are healthy and normal after surgery.
Dr. Rituparna Saha, ENT Surgeon at ILS Hospitals, Agartala performs this Cochlear Implant Surgery. Concerned are requested to avail this facility.
