While acknowledging that not all students can be awarded, Majumder stressed that the primary goal of these exhibitions is to cultivate a scientific temperament. He highlighted that these platforms provide students with an opportunity to showcase their talents and creativity.

The mayor described science exhibitions as a unique platform where imagination, creativity, and real-world experiences converge. He expressed hope that students who excel at the state level will go on to represent Tripura at the national level.

The event also featured science workshops. Other dignitaries present at the event included the Director of Elementary and Secondary Education, N.C. Sharma, and the Secretary of the Education Department, Ravel Hemendra Kumar. After the formal proceedings, the dignitaries toured the exhibition and commended the students’ work.
