Agartala: Feb 11: Job aspirants have surrounded the Chief Minister’s residence multiple times in the past few months, demanding the swift completion of the 2022 STGT recruitment process. However, there has been no response from the government.
When asked about this on Tuesday, State Government Minister Sushanta Chowdhury stated that the STGT falls under the Chief Minister’s office, and therefore, he did not want to comment on this issue. He further mentioned, on behalf of the government, that protests are not the solution to any problem.
Minister Chowdhury emphasized that the current government is providing jobs while adhering to the law, ensuring that situations like the 10,323 case do not arise again. He reassured that when the government provides someone with a job, they will not lose it. He also claimed that job fairs have not been held anywhere else in India, except in Tripura. Therefore, he urged the unemployed not to protest for jobs and assured that the government will provide jobs following all the rules.
