State govt working towards bringing good governance to people in PM’s way philosophy: Chief Minister

Agartala, January 22: Today is a very historic and memorable day. After almost 500 years of waiting, this auspicious day has arrived. In Uttar Pradesh’s holy land of Ayodhya, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the idol of Ram Lala at the historic Ram Temple on Monday. The Prime Minister also wants to deliver good governance to all citizens. And in the vision of the Prime Minister, the state government is also working to deliver good governance to the people. This government is committed to deliver fundamental rights to all.

Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha said this while participating in the Puja Aarti of Ram organized at Durgabari in Agartala on the occasion of the death of Ram Lala in the holy Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on Monday.

In an interview given to the media, the Chief Minister said that today is a very significant day. After a long wait this day has come to us. Today the whole country has become happy. It seems that a new chapter of Rama reign will begin again across the country. Good governance was well known during Rama’s reign. Good governance comes to mind when one thinks of Rama’s reign. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also working towards delivering good governance to the countrymen. He wants total welfare of the society till the last person. And the present government of the state is also working on the promise of delivering all kinds of basic rights to the people as directed by the Prime Minister. That is why the government is sincerely working with public welfare perspective. On this day, Agartala Pur Nigam Mayor Deepak Majumder, Bharatiya Janata Party State Spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty and other party functionaries participated in Ram Puja Aarti with the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, premature Diwali has started across the country on Monday around the Prana Stash program at Ramlala’s Vigraha in Ayodhya. Millions of people of the country are excited by religious emotions. Ayodhya has become a city of joy with the gathering of lakhs of devotees. Around noon on this day, Ram Puja and Shanti Yajna were held by the initiative of Ward No. 20 of Agartala Pur Nigam in MBB Choumuhani area of Agartala. Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha was present as the chief guest in this religious ceremony. Taking part in the event, he said that today will be one of the most memorable days in the country. Ramlala’s statue in Ayodhya has been brought to life by the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The whole country is floating with the emotions of millions of fans. Around this holy day, the whole country is celebrating Akal Diwali festival. Our state of Tripura also joined in that joy. Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Deepak Majumder, Local Municipal Corporator Ratna Dutta were present as distinguished guests on this occasion.
