State Government Provides Financial Assistance to Batuisub District After Tragic Incident

Agartala: July 17: In response to the recent unfortunate incident in the Batuisub district, the state government has taken swift action to support the affected individuals. Here are the key details:

Khagaram Riang, the father of the deceased Parameshwar Riang, will receive financial assistance of ₹6 lakh. Additionally, the state government has allocated ₹1 crore 54 lakh as aid to 165 affected families impacted by the incident. The district administration is distributing ₹25,000 each to the affected people as interim relief. This immediate relief aims to provide some support while further assessments are conducted.

Authorities are currently assessing the damage to affected houses, shops, and other properties. Once this assessment process is complete, the remaining financial assistance will be provided promptly. Health camps have been set up to provide necessary facilities to those staying in relief camps.Regular health check-ups are being conducted to ensure the well-being of affected individuals.

The Deputy Commissioner and Superintendent of Police from Dhalai district visited Gandatuisub today. Shops and markets have resumed normal operations, indicating a gradual return to stability in the area. The state government remains committed to assisting those affected during this challenging time, and efforts are ongoing to restore normalcy in the district.
