State Government Plans to Open Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Medical Colleges in Tripura

Agartala, May 27 — Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha expressed optimism today about the state government’s plans to establish Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medical colleges in Tripura. During a surprise visit to the main Ayurvedic hospital, Chief Minister Saha inspected the overall situation and emphasized the popularity of Ayurvedic medicine alongside allopathy and homeopathy in the state.

Speaking to reporters, Chief Minister Saha highlighted the goal of making health services more people-friendly. The main Ayurvedic hospital has garnered significant attention from the state’s residents, with a large number of patients seeking its services. In addition to upgrading the hospital into an Ayurvedic Medical College, the state government is also considering the establishment of a Homeopathic Medical College in Renta’s Colony.
