Agartala, , May 30: The state administration has taken proactive measures to maintain essential supplies during challenging circumstances. Currently, there is a seven-day stock of petrol and diesel, ensuring that citizens have access to fuel for their daily needs. Additionally, food items are adequately stocked to meet the requirements of the population.

Food and Civil Supplies Minister Sushanta Chowdhury has urged the public not to panic unnecessarily. His reassurance comes in the wake of severe damage to the hill line railway caused by heavy rains. The disruption has impacted both passenger and goods train services. During this period, there was a temporary shortage of petrol and diesel in the state.
