Agartala: Sept 28: With the initiative of the O/o CMO Gomati & ATGDA a Specialist Mega Health Camp has been conducted here in Ompi CHC in Gomati Tripura today. Under the able guidance and supervision of Ompi CHC doctors Mr. Victor Deb & Satyajit Paul this mega health camp has provided appreciable free medical facilities to the local patients. As per the report, specialists from various medical sections have taken participation from different hospital of the district in this mega health camp and provided totally free of cost health service to the patients. Different kinds of test like sugar test, pressure test, malaria test, blood test etc have been done and through appropriate prescription generation genuine treatments have been provided to all patients. Sources said, hundreds of check up, 63 sonography cases, 100 eye patients’ treatment and minor operation etc has been accomplished in the camp. The Ompi MOIC Amit Kumar Das has accompanied with the doctor team to make the camp successful. A large number of patients were given free medicines after check up. Indigenous villagers from far off places have come to this health camp and availed free medical service. Amidst the distinguished doctors in the team there were Dr. Biswajit Paul, MS surgeon, Abhijit Datta, MD, paediatrics, Dr. Pradip Mallik, MS, ENT, Dr. Rajen Saha Bhowmik, MD, medicines, Lisa Debbarma, dental surgeon and many other doctors remained present in the programme. The local people have appreciated the philanthropic initiative of the concerned authorities and thanked them for their good job.
