Agartala: Feb 13: The NCC police station arrested six individuals along with stolen goods. On Thursday, SDPO Subrata Barman informed the media at the NCC police station in Agartala’s Capital Complex that a theft case was filed on February 11 from the old CBI camp office. In this regard, the CBI office inspector filed a case at the NCC police station.
The police formed a team and began investigating the case. The OC of NCC police station and the OC of Abhaynagar outpost arrested the suspects from the Shyamoli Bazar area. Initially, Biplob Debbarma and Raju Bhowmik were arrested. Upon interrogation, eight steel almirahs, seven doors, four windows, a geyser, and four chairs were recovered. The suspects reside in the Shyamoli Bazar and Khejur Bagan areas. Many of them are drug dealers, and several have prior theft cases against them. The police have initiated an investigation into the theft case. SDPO Barman stated that the suspects were produced in court on Thursday, seeking police remand.
