It is claimed that the TCA awarded the contract to a company that charged significantly more than the original project cost.

Tapan Lodh, the President of Tripura Cricket Association, confirmed the commencement of the SIT investigation, which began by confiscating project-related files from TCA’s accounts, engineering, and administrative sections. Lodh emphasized cooperation with the investigation, guided by the High Court’s oversight, and pledged support throughout the process. The specific number of seized files remains undisclosed until the SIT provides a report to be submitted to the High Court, keeping the inquiry confidential.
