In his speech, the Chief Minister highlighted the transformation in the state’s religious atmosphere over the past 35 years and emphasized the importance of faith and belief in God. He mentioned other notable religious sites in the state, such as Tripurasundari Temple, Chauddah Devata Temple, and Kasba Temple, expressing confidence that Siddheshwari Temple would join this esteemed list.

The Chief Minister attributed the establishment of the temple to the divine blessings of Shantikali and the dedicated efforts of Chittaranjan Maharaj, who runs 25 ashrams where around 1500 students study spiritual subjects, with many pursuing higher education.

Maharaja Pradyot Bikram Manikya spoke about Tripura’s tradition of respecting all religions, noting that the state’s kings have always upheld this respect. Other speakers included Dr. Sachinranath Sinha, the central co-minister of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, Padmashree Shantiranjan Maharaj, and Mohant Gayamani Maharaj.

The event was also attended by Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Finance Minister Pranjit Singha Roy, Cooperative Minister Shuklacharan Noatia, Tribal Welfare Minister Bikash Debbarma, and representatives from various ashrams and temples.
