Agartala October 17: This time the Kamalpur Yuva Samaj Club has added a touch of innovation in the puja, there will be dance rhythms with seven female dhaki and three male dhaki. And all the men and women of the area will join in that rhythm. It is known that the responsibilities are given to seven female dhakis and three male dhakis for raising waves in the rhythm of the dhak in Matri Aradhana. Women’s dhakis are going to be attractive especially, in Durga Puja of Kamalpur Yuva Samaj Club. This club has been associated with Matri Aradhana for decades.

Every year there is something new in their Puja idea. The club authorities have handed over the responsibility of making the heart beat on the dhak stick during puja days to the Mohini Kaharba Dhak Society of Kolkata. A team of seven women and three men dhakis has already visited the state for the first time for the puja. This time, the construction of a mandap in the style of South India is underway for this big budget puja of twelve lakh rupees. Potter Ranjit Bhattacharjee is making the idol. The final pull is underway. And the female dhakis have already arrived. On the second night, the people of the area were moved to the puja premises by the rhythm of the dhak. Visitors have gathered. Female dhakis have given more mileage in the joy of Puja. Locals are very happy with the mind-blowing management of puja by women dhakis this year.
