Agartala: Mar 01: The West District Administration has issued Article 144 to announce the results of the 13th Assembly elections peacefully on Thursday. Section 144 will be in force in areas under Sadar subdivision from 6 pm on Wednesday to 6 am on March 3. According to section 144, gathering together in Sadar sub-district area is prohibited.

Similarly, group movement cannot be done. And no sharp weapons can be carried. There will be tight security by the police administration and paramilitary forces. Also the loudspeaker cannot be played at high volume. Multiple bikes and cars cannot travel in groups. Strict action will be taken if anyone violates the law. From Wednesday afternoon, West District Administration can be seen warning people about this at various intersections in Agartala city. This initiative has been taken by the West District Administration so that the results can be declared peacefully.
