Road Accident in Agartala Leaves TIT Students and Driver Injured

Agartala, March 14: A distressing road accident occurred today, resulting in severe injuries to several students and the driver of the Tripura Institute of Technology (TIT). The incident unfolded on the Airport Road near Goala Basti in the capital.

According to eyewitness, a bus collided with the TIT van, causing harm to both passengers and the driver. Swift action was taken by local residents who promptly alerted the fire brigade. Firefighters arrived at the scene, rescuing the injured individuals and swiftly transporting them to the hospital for medical attention.

Chief Minister Professor Dr. Manik Saha expressed his heartfelt condolences to those affected by the accident. He conveyed his sadness upon learning of the incident and wished the injured a speedy recovery. Additionally, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of vigilance while driving, urging everyone to exercise caution on the roads.
