Ampi, 16th of November 2023.  Due to constant deprivation for road, drinking water and electricity amenities the Reang villagers of Ampi Chara VC under Ampi nagar RD block in Gomati Tripura have staged road blockade here on Teliamura-Amarpur road nearby Ampi nagar town hall today. A large number of Reang indigenous people from Salka Para have assembled in the blockade spot and raised their voice over the deprivation. Due to blockade long queue of vehicles were stopped on the both sides of the road. As per the report, the Reang villagers of Salka Para are the worst victim for road, power and drinking water for last many decades but the administration does not care for them. Despite of many applications to the concerned authorities nothing initiative has been taken till the date. Afterwards the executive engineer and other officials have come to the spot and interacted with the blockers. They have given assurance to take immediate initiative for their demands and requested to the excited blockers to withdraw the road hindrance.
