Rajesh Tripura Arrested on Fraud and Embezzlement Charges

Agartala: Oct 19: Rajesh Tripura, the owner of a YouTube channel, has been arrested on charges of fraud and financial embezzlement. According to Paritosh Das, the Officer-in-Charge of West Police Station, Tripura allegedly forged land documents belonging to another individual and sold them to World Mission Education, a Delhi-based organization. A complaint regarding this matter was filed by World Mission Education at Agartala West Police Station on July 12, 2023.

The police have arrested four individuals in connection with this case, with Rajesh Tripura being the main accused. He was apprehended last night. Today, Tripura was presented in court, where the police sought a five-day remand for further investigation.

Additionally, there are other allegations against Tripura. He reportedly purchased goods worth approximately 10 lakhs from a local businessman and has not repaid the amount, allegedly providing fake checks as payment.
