Rajeev Sinha is about to be removed from the post of State Election Commissioner, the Governor of West Bengal has indicated. And this is why West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose did not accept Rajeev Sinha’s joining report.

West Bengal Governor Rajiv Sinha, who is unhappy with the panchayat poll process in the state, has failed to quell the unrest across the state. The Governor of West Bengal is very angry with the Election Commissioner Rajiv Sinha on various issues. Therefore, on Wednesday 21/06/2023, the Governor sent back the joining report of State Election Commissioner Rajeev Sinha.

On the other hand, the state government and the Election Commission faced a big blow in the Supreme Court on Tuesday. Then on Wednesday, the State Election Commission got a shock again, Judge Amrita Sinha of Calcutta High Court had to face the criticism of the Election Commission as well as Rajiv Sinha.
