Agartala October 16: All India Congress leader Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with state Congress leaders at MBB Airport while on his way to Mizoram for election campaign. He arrived at MBB airport on Monday morning in a chartered flight to join the campaigning for the Mizoram assembly elections. He then left for Aizawl in Mizoram by helicopter from MBB airport.

Before leaving for Aizawl, Rahul Gandhi held a meeting with the state Congress leaders at the MBB airport. State Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha, MLA Sudip Roy Barman, MLA Gopalchandra Roy, former MLA Dwibachandra Rangkhal, Youth Congress President Rakhu Das and others were present in this meeting. After the meeting with Rahul Gandhi, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman said that Rahul Gandhi has inquired about Tripura, talked about organizational issues. Besides, Rahul Gandhi has assured that he will come to the state on a two-day visit after the 5 state assembly elections. However, it has become clear in the words of Sudip Roy Barman that Rahul Gandhi will focus on Tripura before the Lok Sabha elections. However, how much it will shape the future of the state Congress now depends on organizational issues.
