Agartala, July 10: The government is determined to bring the exploited and deprived people of the society to the forefront. Union Minister of State Pratima Bhaumik said this while participating in a social rights camp at CRC SRE premises in Agartala today.

On this day, he said, the Social Justice and Empowerment Department has provided free motorized tri-cycles to 94 disabled people. They have been given the bicycle to live a simple life and earn money.

He also said that in this camp, in collaboration with NELD Kolkata and ALEMCO, about Rs.45 lakhs were spent to provide free motorized tri-cycles to 94 disabled people. In his words, this camp was held as part of the Prime Minister’s resolve to bring Sabka Saath, Sabka Bikash and the most exploited and deprived people of the society to the forefront of the society.

 

Also on this day he requested other Divyang brothers and sisters of Tripura to register their names for various facilities.
